Koiner Roadmap: New Integrations and Development Plans
Discover the Koiner roadmap, outlining exciting new integrations, future features, and enhancements aimed at empowering users and developers within the Koinos ecosystem!
As Koiner continues to evolve, I'm excited to share the roadmap for upcoming features and integrations that will take the platform to the next level. The focus is on making Koiner more accessible, providing powerful tools for developers, and deepening integration with the broader Koinos ecosystem.
KoinDX integration
A major integration with KoinDX is in development, featuring:
- Liquidity Pools: Users will gain access to liquidity pool data, including available liquidity, reserve mutations, and visual graphs for better insights.
- Trading history: Users will be able to explore trading history by pool, token, and address, providing a clearer picture of market activity.
- Token Prices & Market Cap Data: Access real-time token prices, market cap information, and detailed graphs illustrating token supply trends over time, along with distribution breakdowns.
NFT Integration: Kollection + Nicknames
Support for NFTs through the integration with Nicknames and Kollection is in the works. This integration will enable users to view NFT collections and their NFT portfolio, including:
- NFT Collections: Users will have the ability to view and explore NFT collections.
- NFT Portfolios: Koiner will provide users with a clear overview of their NFT holdings, allowing them to track their portfolio effortlessly.
- NFT Trades: The platform will feature detailed trade history, allowing users to analyze trades by collection, address, and their own accounts.
This integration aims to enhance the user experience, providing full visibility over NFT assets within the Koinos ecosystem.
Network statistics / graphs
Koiner is set to provide a comprehensive array of network statistics, including:
- Mana Usage: Track the utilization of mana resources within the network, offering insights into system performance and efficiency.
- Daily/Monthly Transactions: Monitor transaction volumes over time, providing a clear view of network activity trends.
- Accounts Created: View the growth of the Koinos ecosystem through metrics on new accounts created within specified time frames.
- Total Value Locked (TVL) Stats & Graphs: Analyze the total value locked in liquidity pools and smart contracts, essential for understanding network health and user investment.
- Monthly/Daily Active Users: Assess user engagement and activity levels, helping to gauge the ecosystem’s adoption and usage patterns.
Fogata integration
In addition to network statistics, Koiner will integrate with Fogata, enabling users to access detailed data and graphs related to block production, including:
- Block Produced Graphs: Visualize the block production of producers, enhancing transparency.
- Fogata Burn Pools: Gain insights into the burn pools through information on participants, reburns, stakes & unstakes, and the rewards distribution associated with Fogata’s burn pools.
Other updates
- KOIN Claims & Snapshot Addresses: Users will soon be able to view $KOIN claim operations, along with information about which KOIN addresses are linked to specific snapshot addresses.
- Contract information: Detailed information on smart contract versions and available methods will be added to Koiner.
Open-source tools
In the spirit of decentralization, I'm planning to release Koiner’s tooling as open-source packages.
- One-Click Installation: Running a Koinos node on Kubernetes is becoming significantly easier with an upcoming one-click install feature, leveraging Pulumi CI to automate the entire setup process.
- Open-Source Indexing Tools: I'm planning to release Koiner’s Indexing tools as open-source packages. This will empower other developers to easily index dApp data with Supabase and contribute to the growth of the Koinos ecosystem.
Future Enhancements
There's still work to be done before the V2 backend is released. Once finalized, the web app will be updated to leverage the new API, along with UI enhancements. This update will include a significant part of the integration with KoinDX. Following this, additional integrations and new features will be rolled out incrementally. A complete redesign of the UI may also be in the pipeline.
There are many exciting developments on the horizon, including the launch of a premium product tailored to Koiners and dApp developers. Koiner PRO will provide access to powerful tools, including the Koiner API, designed to enhance the development experience.
In an upcoming post, I’ll dive deeper into Koiner PRO’s features—and something new is coming soon, so stay tuned, Koiners!
